I like to sit up front. For me, it's less distracting; easier to go up to receive with my cane; and I get to pray while the others receive.

My Monsignor who was pastor when I was growing up, once stopped the Offertory to tell a late comer to please go back home and put some clothing on! (She was wearing shorts). My last pastor had a niece who helped tend the grounds and dress the Altar. She had sets of blouses and skirts for females who came in without being properly covered! Smart idea, good lesson.
