CROWN OF GLORY
CATHOLIC CLASSICS UNLIMITED CROWN OF GLORY ^

Posted on 08/19/2015 11:16:43 PM PDT by OrthodoxIndianCatholic

Introduction:

In Portugal, there exists a crown of the "Blessed Mother" where Saint Pope John Paul -2 placed two bullets which struck him when he was the Pope at Saint Peter's Square on May 13, 1981.

I believe that this symbolizes Our Lady's Triumph. She will turn everything around and even the most vicious efforts of her enemies will be used to make even brighter, her "Crown of Glory".

The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be the Eucharistic Reign of her son through the flourishing of "Perpetual Adoration" which will bring about the "New Era" a second, a new, and a more glorious earthly paradise.

SAINT POPE JOHN PAUL -2 AND THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:

This is why, Saint Pope John Paul -2 was allowed by God to be shot on May 13th. It is the Feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. The Pope is the Vicar of Christ.

The significance of him being shot on the Feast Day Of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament is this. It graphically illustrates the horror and evil of the unrelenting attacks on the Blessed Sacrament.

The World was in shock when Saint Pope John Paul -2 was shot. What would be more terrible ?? As, blatantly and tragically horrible as this scene was, of the Pope Saint John Paul -2 being shot, even worse is the unseen attacks on the "One" he serves so well, the Lord Himself in the most Blessed Sacrament.

Are we moved to do something about it ??

Denial of the Real Presence, ridicule of exposition, and specially attacks on "Perpetual Adoration" are common place. Read the Book of Revelation and the battle lines of war become clear once you know that the "Woman" is Mother Mary against the 'Dragon- Satan' fighting the "Lamb" - Jesus Christ in the most Blessed Sacrament.

Who are the Kings who fight against the "Lamb" ?? They are those in authority in the Church who fight against the Blessed Sacrament. But "The Lamb" will be victorious because he is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings and those with him are called chosen and faithful. (Revelation 17:14).

Many people - Soldiers and Ordinary Folk were killed during World War -2. How many brave men in the past century alone have fought and died for love of their country ??

How many wars have been fought for Peace and Freedom ?? and yet, look how far we are away from either.

There is only "One War" worth fighting for. "Standing up for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament today is like standing up for Christ when he was on the Cross !!".

What we need today is an "Army of Priests" who are willing to fight, by standing up and being counted for the cause of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

Conclusion :

There are 2 Catholic Cardinals from Asia, who I admire a lot. One of them is the "Holy Cardinal" of Cebu in the Phillipines and Cardinal Sin of the Archdiocese of Manila.

Cardinal Vidal is the Holy Cardinal of Cebu. Cardinal Vidal once said that because we live in "Extraordinary Times" we must be willing to do the "Extraordinary" by having "Perpetual Adoration" in order to obtain "Extraordinary Graces and Blessings from God".

Cardinal Vidal works very hard to bring about perpetual adoration in every one of his parishes. Cardinal Sin of Manila has made it the most "Eucharistic" Diocese in the world with over 100 Chapels of perpetual adoration.

God Bless them both !!

Dear Friends in Jesus and Mary,

Greetings again. I am back to Blogging about the Catholic Faith.

Pope Saint John Paul -2 was shot at on the 13th of May 1981.

The 13th of May is the Feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Pope Saint John Paul - 2 always stood up for Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament during his life on earth.

When Pope Saint John Paul -2 had fully recovered from his bullet injuries - he travelled to Portugal to put a bullet in the crown of Our Lady in thanksgiving to her.

Today, there are many attacks against Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament !! Will any one of us stand up for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament like Pope Saint John Paul-2 did ??

Now Who is this Son? He is the One Who has said, that on the last day, He will divide the sheep on His right hand from the goats on His left. Kumbaya won't be the incidental music.

Now who is this Mother? She held His lifeless body in her arms after giving Him to the world to save it. She loves us more completely and perfectly than any other created person can. She will try to get Him to have mercy on us until the last possible instant. But if we should refuse that mercy, she will be the chief of those blessed in heaven whose tears have all been wiped away, who share God's happiness to the greatest extent, and from whom all memory of those goats, those refusers of His mercy has been wiped away. No one at that banquet will remember the goats, from the least to their chief, satan. No one will remember them or think of them.

I choose to self-label this a Caucus thread and bite my tongue!

I remember how unthinkable that whole scenario was. Our Pope was such a kind and gentle man! I can't remember if it was he or the doctors who attended him who said the the gun was shot by a man, but a Woman's hand guided the bullet. Totus Tuus- totally yours- was his motto as he entrusted his life and his papacy to our Holy Mother. If you get the opportunity, read the dreams of St. John Bosco- where the Church was shown as a ship in peril, and a Pope anchored It between two pillars: one with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament on top; the other with Our Lady holding the Rosary.

Until next time!
God bless you!
