He, you, and his doctors will be in our prayers
Are you getting the smoke from the wildfires out west we had yesterday (I'm in Western ND)? Lots of allergic reactions and pulmonary issues locally from that, and visibility was noticeably reduced. It seemed nastier than the usual forest fire murk we had earlier this year from BC and Montana.
One of my sons was a “world class” asthmatic, especially from ages 11 thru 18. Somewhere in his early 20s it seemed to stabilize (or he learned better management techniques).
It’s very frightening when your asthmatic child has an attack, and the best option always is to head to the ER. Bring along a coke or cup of coffee, as the caffeine can give a quick shot until the meds start working. At the ER they can hook him up to oxygen that you wouldn’t have available at home; they have all the meds there and know proper dosing. Prayers for you and your son to get thru these very trying episodes.
Northstar Mom, I’m glad your boy is doing better. Will pray that he continues to do so.
Wardaddy, I didn’t know that putting him in the shower after being outside was a bad thing...dang, you learn something new every day. I’m just glad he was okay. None of the family has asthma, but I know a lady with breathing problems, and she says trying to get that air in, and not being able to, is the most frightening thing in the world.
Your girl had pneumonia at four months!? OMG, I bet your poor wife was out of her head.
Lord Jesus, our Healer and Savior, give strength to Thy young servant and heal him.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
My last update on CJ: He is doing well :-) thanks for praying. In fact, he is breathing better today than he has for months.
I am going to try some of the suggestions given to me here-thanks!
Praise the Lord.
Good to hear he is doing better, Still sending prayers for you, him and the rest of your family.
God Bless.
