Is this not the Pope who publicly kissed the Koran, with lips that kisses the Bible, when he visited Istanbul?
Sorry to mention it, but it still sticks in my craw.

I suppose a consensus just has to build until the “Pope” (who actually ceases to be Pope when he becomes a heretic) can no longer hold on to office. When no one answers when he pushes the buzzer.

From today’s daily mass:

Mark 1:15.

The Kingdom of God is at hand;
repent and believe in the Gospel.

That is what the Pope should be saying!

I can only hope that he is as vocal on pro-life and traditional marriage, as he was today on environmental issues. He is letting himself be used by Obama.

That doesn’t sound like a lawful canonical process.

It isn’t. There is not a word in the Code of Canon Law about the removal of a Pope—or even the resignation of a Pope. But since the Pope has absolute power (limited, of course by moral and divine law) he can always resign, as Benedict did.

If a Pope came to be universally judged a heretic, he would have to resign because, literally, no one would answer his buzzer.

It seems to me that could never happen, since there would always be fellow-heretics, as well as the many confused and misled, who would "answer his buzzer".

This seems the only solution:

I have the feeling that not nearly enough people appreciate just how much of a scandal the Pope’s endorsement of the Global Warming Hoax is. First of all: It’s a huge lie. Second: It means he’s enlisted in the central totalitarian project of the moment.

I’ve defended people like Chris Christie because he has “all the right enemies”; this Pope seems to have none of them. Very telling...

Never mind criticizing communism; the Vatican openly condemned SOCIALISM in the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries...

As to the Pope’s legitimacy - my wife had the same question when he became Pope. She’s Catholic and said a pope “retiring” just never happens. It sounds like some cabal of progressives forced the issue on Pope Benedict. I think we’re seeing why.
