This is so wrong one hardly knows where to begin, so I won’t bother.

I’ve been studying Ezekiel 38 & 29 as well as Psalms 83 the past couple of days to keep abreast of Bible prophecy in light of what is happening in Syria right now. Just hold the Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other - and you will witness prophecy being fulfilled.

Thanks for posting—isn’t it eerie how close we are to that final trump?
I never in my wildest dreams would’ve thought the Russians would be in Syria (near the mountains of Israel) prior to Isaiah 17. Some prophecy authors are now questioning if Psalm 83 is even a war that must happen before Ezekiel 38-39. Maybe it’s one in the same?
The “hook” in Gog’s mouth may be placed soon. So much going on Prophetically it’s crazy!

Oops-typo - it’s Ezekiel 38 & 39 - not 29.

We get EMPed in the first sentence and while all the crap is going down we are killing each other over food and medicine. Later as we rebuild we get prememtively nuked by magog to keep us out of the way.

"Russia is a player in Prophecy, but not the USA..."
...if you're so biased, that you focus exclusively on geography. The truth is that although many descendants of some nations continue to live in their original countries, many other descendants of particular nations have migrated to other countries.
It's about nations of people and their evil inclinations--not only the soil that they lived on thousands of years ago. The land of Magog is an exception and not the rule. For one, it's likely that many Iberians of today were referred to by the Prophets (even according to Iberian historians in Georgia, Spain and other countries).
Some of the people in every country (soil) and nation (people) are included in the rougher part of the plan, but it will all be for the better. Rebelling against the plan is the big, vain and idolatrous no-no.

I believe in studying Bible prophecy I just do not believe in jumping the gun on interpretation. In the age of the gospel, God offers his redemption to the entire world. No one is excluded. The end of the world is set. But we do not know whether God will in His mercy give the world more time to repent. Never will the entire world become Christian, but the offer is extended to all. God is patient. We do not want to prematurely label anyone and thereby find ourselves on the wrong side.

Well said!
I've always thought it interesting that the USA would not be involved in trying to defend Israel and Egypt would not be involved in attacking Israel. However, in no short order that is exactly what seems to be happening.

Well I support the Russian mission to prop up the Assad’s. They have kept the peace for about 40+ years and have forged a working relationship with Isreal.
They’re remaining neutral during OIF marked Syria as pro-western by OBL’s alquida and fatwaed for destruction. Eventually Syria, and they’re sister neutral independent states were intentionally destabilised by BO’s “Arab spring” mumblings.
This is the world your clown negro in chief gave you.
Hey...it’s either the Assad’s or another faction on the mudslime brotherhood.

My intention here is not to proselytize but to help two opposing sides to more quickly go further in their respective directions.
The Russian air strikes were in
Talbiseh (Talbisa), Homs, far from ISIS forces. The Russians are bombing the Free Syrian Army.
Map of the Situation (including which areas are controlled by which factions)
Russian pilots talks while bombing Talbisa, Homs [Just in today.]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LDnZAOJgSc
The obvious reason is that the Russians hope to destroy moderate factions that want a secular government, leaving only radical Islamist factions like ISIS as an excuse to build up the Assad/Iranian side.
It appears that Putin's hope is to stabilize the situation and put it under the control of Iran and Russia before making pacts with other nations to move further south. It appears to be another Russian proxy campaign to take the Mediterranean (to control energy resources, ports, military routes and more) and to take Israel for the Mother Church of Russia (Eastern Orthodox) and similar religious allies. Russia conducted a similar long campaign to build up Arab proxies and prod them to attack Israel before the Six Day War.
Russia is bombing towns in Syria that are controlled by anti-regime rebels and not by ISIS [Info including map and video.]

The U.S. was just God's big secret. Shhh! We're not really here. Founding fathers, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan....never happened! Never happened!
Now Gog and Mr. Magog are a different matter altogether.
To: pastorbillrandles
Insightful and timely. I wonder if Russian support and armaments will encourage an Arab Psalm 83 attack on Israel? If so, this may be the hook that pulls the Bear into Israel (Ezekiel 38)
