Question: "Who is the Lady of Guadalupe? Were the apparitions of Mary at Guadalupe real?"
Answer: Answer: In Catholicism, Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of Mexico, pictured as a woman in a blue mantle. Her hands are folded, her eyes are cast downward, and she is surrounded by a radiant glow. She is standing on a crescent moon supported by an angel underneath. This image is based on a series of five supposed appearances of the Virgin Mary in Mexico in the sixteenth century.

Sadly many will continue to worship and adore these false images rather than the One True Christ.
“...many will continue to worship and adore these false images rather than the One True Christ. “
Yeah.
But it’s better than Quezequotyl (however it’s spelled).
Answer: The modern day manifestation of the Neolithic "Great Mother" which carried down to Cybele in classical times and was adopted to ease the conscience of pagans.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Comments like that is why many love this place.
You're tagline...
From the article-Many accounts claim that the girl said, I am the ever-virgin Mary, Mother of the true God.
What a load..
This false mary, when she points, points to the false Christ
An ‘antichrist’
And his name is Jesus too.
Tough to tell the genuine Savior from Rome’s Jesus.
Easiest way to see it is probably testing Paul’s gospel vs Rome’s gospel.
1 corinthians 15-
Died for our sins, according to Scripture...when did the Lamb die?
Passover (Paul and Old Testament scripture)
Vs. Good Friday ( Rome and Rome’s catechism)
Was buried and raised the 3rd day, according to scripture..when was the Savior raised?
First Fruits (Paul and Old Testament scripture)
Vs. Easter Sunday (Rome and Rome’s catechism)
That about sums up the easiest way to tell the difference but it is subtle. Just how Satan works. And it really is no harder than that but one would first have to see a difference between Passover and ‘Friday’.
And that can be observed every year when Passover ‘appears’ to float around the pope’s calendar.
But it would appear more than Catholics out there are believing in and worshipping a false christ right now..
Not sure they would recognize Paul’s ‘according to scripture’.
Judiasm does’t either but that is why it says Satan deceives the whole world.
Nican Mopohua, a copy of which dated to 1556 resides in New York Public Library (Take a look at it if you like), escaped the author's notice, apparently.
By their fruits you shall know them. I’ve been to that shrine: it’s a beautiful place in an almost eerie way, and unusually tranquil for a spot so popular. It has inspired the faithful of Mexico City for almost thirty generations. What could be wrong with that?
And no where do we have any instruction or example of the writers of the NT appealing to the departed believers for prayer.

Yes...thanks for the link. Here is what the NYPL also has to say about the document in question.
You'd give yourself more credibility if you posted all of the facts.
The real significance of the Nican Mopohua held at the New York Public Library is its possible date of authorship. Scholars contend it may be the earliest written version of the account of Juan Diego and the occurrences at the hill of Tepeyac. The manuscript may even be in the hand of the Nuhua scholar Anotonio Valeriano (ca. 1531-1605) and thus closer to an original account of Juan Diego's narrative than later printed versions. http://www.nypl.org/blog/2014/04/17/nican-mopohua
Sounds like a lot of may be more than is.
Again, here is the money quote as translated:
The maiden told Juan Diego "Beloved son, go you to the bishop and tell him to build a church to me on this spot, so that from it I may give help and protection to the Mexican people in their sorrows and calamities."
No catholic worships Mary. Also. No catholic -and this is canon law- is required to believe in the apparitions
This apparition and its consequences have done nothing but good.
This is for any reader that might be interested I realize you’re not going to change your mind.
There was a doctor that was assigned by the Vatican to examine this apparition there are miracles associated with it.he converted to Catholicism. So we know that when people actually find out about the things they are condemning things change
I will say this for anyone interested. And this is straight from the bible.
Mary said at the first miracle, ‘do whatever He tells you’
There is nothing in Catholicism that strays from that most simple command. She always always leads to Jesus. We believe that any apparition comes through His power. Certainly not hers
We’ve been chanting this since the 6th century:
An Archangel was sent from Heaven to cry ‘Rejoice!’ to the Theotokos. And beholding You, O Lord, taking bodily form, he stood in awe, and with his bodiless voice he cried aloud to her such things as these:
Rejoice, you through whom joy shall shine forth. Rejoice, you through whom the curse will vanish.
Rejoice, the Restoration of fallen Adam. Rejoice, the Redemption of the tears of Eve.
Rejoice, O Height beyond human logic. Rejoice, O depth invisible even to the eyes of Angels.
Rejoice, for you are the King’s throne. Rejoice, you bear Him, Who bears the universe.
Rejoice, O Star revealing the Sun. Rejoice, O Womb of divine Incarnation.
Rejoice, you through whom creation is renewed. Rejoice, you through whom the Creator is born a Babe.
Rejoice O Bride Unwedded!
Ease the conscience of pagans. Hardly
This apparition led to an eradication of human sacrifice rampant in the region at the time
Wow! That is beautiful. If I could memorize it, it might make for a prayerfully happy toast Christmas Eve.
The image is based on what? Here is what the image is based on...it has been hanging on a wall in Mexico for centuries and the garment itself is fairly extraordinary: http://www.adropofclearwater.com/LatestTalk.html
**Were the apparitions of Mary at Guadalupe real?**
