Paul's answer to this situation is based on the principle of loving consideration by both parties.

A great example of this is what Paul instructed the church in Corinth to do. He told them women should have the heads covered. I always thought this was a silly, legalistic instruction. However, among the reasons for this my Pastor mentioned during his message that in Corinth prostitutes had shaved heads and as they heard The Gospel and believed Paul wanted them to feel welcome in the church there. So he instructed women to cover their heads so people would feel welcome.
