Reuters ^ | November 30, 2015 | Philip Pullella

The U.N. climate conference in Paris is most likely humanity's last chance to thwart global environmental disaster, Pope Francis said on Monday, warning the world was "at the limits of suicide".

The pope, who wrote a major document on the environment last June, made the comment in an hour-long news conference aboard the plane returning him to Rome at the end of a six-day trip to Africa.

The freewheeling conversations have become a trademark of his papacy and the few times he takes direct questions from journalists....

Looks like the left bought themselves a Pope!

If the Pope thinks climate change is the result of overpopulation, where does the Pope think we should begin radically reducing the world's population - Africa, India or China?

These are the only places where the world's population has grown significantly in the past 40 years.

Has the Pope read the book of Job? Job 38: 34-35

Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water?

Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, "Here we are"?

Actually China isn’t growing. So it’s just Africa and India where’s the bulk of population growth is occuring right now.

"World headed toward 'suicide' if no climate agreement: pope"

He's got his priorities confused. ISIS will get him long before global warming does.

The pope is entitled to his opinion. But fact is that pollution has always been the temporary cost has lead to a much standard of living for a billions of people. I see the smog in Beijing, as thick as London fog was a hundred fifty years ago. Look at London today. Or look how bad air was in Washington was the winter of 1960. No more. As for global warning, we don’t have enough date to make a final judgement as to the cause. The predictions made since 1970 have been literally “hot” and “cold”. As to the outcome, we really don’t know if it will be good or bad for the human race. As for the “planet,” if we do kill ourselves off, the planet will eventually come back.

This Pope has no business being Christ’s representative.

He demands acquiescence to the World Banking Cartel’s dictate, or the faithful will be committing the gravest of sins?

He is Pope Spiritual Blackmail I, or maybe that Petrus Romanus fellow we hear about.

So the Pope does not think God is capable of creating a world that would sustain his children? I find that fascinating.
