Normally, IMDB is a very good source on Movies. However, it appears this movie is in theatres, and was released yesterday.

I saw a trailer for it last night when we went to the theatre to see “Brooklyn”, which was very good, BTW. It was under “Coming Atractions”, but they didn’t say when it was opening.
Juliet Stevenson is a very good British actress. Amazing that she turned herself into a bit of a lookalike.
It is currently playing in theatres. Released yesterday.
It has the handmark of God's Timing on it.
My daughter and I saw Letters last night. It was playing virtually every multiplex in GA.
The movie was very well done. Good acting. Good story line.
Theater was about half full.
I find it interesting that Freeper posts this as “Catholic” movie. It is much broader audience than just “Catholic”.
Labeling it “Catholic” does not understand the movie.

A key point of the movie is that Mother Teresa had to 'break her vows' to start the 'Missionaries of Charity'. Basically, she had to get permission to do what she did...
I had it right by my computer, and it disappeared. I might have moved it or one of my cats may have played with it and moved it.
I did not have the money to go to the movie, but during my search, I found $7, with will me to see the movie today (I hope).
Then I found the relic in a place where I had looked before.

“Break her vows” sounds much more dramatic than “received the permission of her religious superior and the local Bishop to leave religious order A and found religious order B.”
I’m both Catholic and Evangelical Protestant. So far most of the Catholic Churches I’ve attended in Atlanta area are extremely liberation theology, pro-social justice/pro-gay marriage/anti-family/anti-Jew. (No change from most I attended in Chicagoland.)
But I hope to move to the Lazmataz area and will try Holy Cross Catholic Church near my new place.
(The Protestant churches I’ve attended are pro-Jew/Israel, pro-life, pro-family and vary on economics, some very capitalist, some more squishy.
The Catholic Church have never endorse liberation theology,, gay marriage. They are for families and friendly with the Judaism, the roots of Catholicism. I think you are talking about the slant of pastors.
Which church has consistently stood against abortion, against homosexuality, against contraception, against embryonic stem cell research?
Most non-Catholic churches are falling into women priests, endorsing homosexuality, etc. and people are leaving them in droves.
Again, I believe you are speaking of the pastors point of view and not the entire Catholic Church.

Once a person is baptized a Catholic, they are always a Catholic, although they may not be a practicing one.
I pray you find an orthodox Catholic Church.
The Atlanta Catholic Church closest to my house is 100% pro-gay marriage, including priests, deacons, music director, altar servers, etc many of whom are in gay marriages. When they celebrated the Supreme Court decision, everyone by me was clapping. Most were dancing in the aisle.
Another church in a tony upscale neighborhood is not as boisterous in its support. So it is hard to read. I went to one of the Social-Justice meetings mid-week. The gay attorneys were the feature although migrant farm workers were the alleged topic. They complained that although the priests and sister x were with them, only half the English congregation was with them and “they had a lot of work to do with the Spanish congregation to educate them.”
Atlanta Bishop comes out of the same Chicago pro-gay part of the church that dominated Mundelein seminary, Niles prep seminary, etc.
It should be able to see the showing somewhere.
The theater had been blessed recently because of shootings at the theater.
It is an excellent movie and very moving. Focuses on her life between 1946 and the early 1950's.
The reason I say this is that IMDB.com has two entries for the title of "The Letters". Both have the same writer, producer and actress.
The second movie is to be released in 2016 (April).
This movie was first shown at a foreign film festival in 2014.

My confusion was the title ("The Letters II"), which I thought was a different movie.
This movie is not entirely accurate. The title 'The Letters' is a bit deceptive because it gives an impression of being based on facts contained in Mother's letter discovered during the Cause, while in reality most of the movie is invented. The presentation of the movie is wrong: it presents the Cause of canonization incorrectly. Even the parts that the producer claims to be quotes are incorrect; the role of Postulator and the process itself as presented in the movie is inaccurate. We are grateful that in spite of these and other flaws the movie is able to touch people.
The movie opened in 886 theaters. The second week it was in 779 theaters. The following week only 16 theaters. Then only 7 theaters. It may not still be playing anywhere.
