He must be prone to quite a few "accidents".
Did you notice in the middle photo that he tucked in both his napkin and his pectoral cross?
Ha! A train line to every [TLM] parish; now that would be nice. We are only a 5-minute bike ride from a Novus Ordo, but recently we have done the train [on Sundays] and the whole thing takes close to 5 hours, start to finish, and it’s worth every minute, just to attend a TLM.
Our Novus Ordo [in the area] is not conducted in a highly respectful manner, and it’s painful [darn near impossible] to sit through it.
We do have adoration at this same parish, though, and we spend time with Jesus [during the week] in that fashion.
Yeah, I have to admit that those series of photos look pretty suspicious. As in he is embarrassed to confess Christ.
I withdraw the possible defense (accident) that I suggested.
That’s Latvian Orhodox, Fada.
That’s true. I thought it had gotten harder to spell, but it was just wrong. LOL
I agree with you. Ann is a powerful writer and always on our side.

You need to find a solid Holy Bible based Christian Church. Religion is man made and with it comes all the man junk. Christianity is a relationship between Jesus Christ and you. Start reading your Bible and pray every chance you get. Slowly but surely you will see what that relationship with Christ really looks like and then finding a real Church will be easy.
Thanks. I know what you say is true. For a long time now,
I’ve been submitting myself to my husband of 51 years,
especially in the area of church. We’ve been in Southern
Baptist Church for the past 6 or 7 years. For now, it is
Bible-based and the pastor is OK. I do read my Bible every
day & pray best I know how. - Husband was raised in SBC all
his life. His browbeat brother who submits to HIS German
wife, was also raised same as my husband. It’s OK. I
got turned all around there for a while; but when my
mother passed away, I sort of went off the track & almost
lost it. - I can’t go the Roman Catholic route. I come from
French Huguenot ancestors; and the past is catching up to
me since I learned more about myself.
For me, the novus ordo is a cold, empty gathering of Catholics, many drawn by the necessity of fulfilling their Sunday obligation. The Latin Mass is alive and meaningful. I suggest all Catholics seek one out, they do take effort and commitment, but Our Lord deserves at least that sacrifice. I am grateful, however, to my novus ordo priest for directing me to another parish, so I could experience the beauty of the Traditional Latin mass.
I do not like all that “Vatican” stuff... - Any thoughts or suggestions anyone?
