I am not a Christian and I am not a Roman Catholic. I am a Jew, and I am very comfortable in the way that I, as well as my people, worship G-d and try to follow his commandments.
So many anti-Semites through the ages have begun by smiling at us and trying to get us to embrace their faith, and when they realized that we are not going to sacrifice our relationship with G-d and accept the one they are offering, they become our enemies and set out to destroy us. We still are here, and the Pope’s “warm” efforts at coercion likewise will not succeed.
I am also a Jew, but not one who was born from a Jewish family. I am grafted into the True Vine, the whole family of God. That is an exclusive family, though.
It consists of those who have discovered that no matter how hard they try, it isn't possible to be good enough. God requires perfection, not just effort.
But, He was good enough to provide a way for us to inherit all of His promises, through simple faith that Jesus is and always has been the author and perfector of our faith. It is a free gift. It doesn't require hard work or empty religious exercise. It only requires one to accept that Jesus is Who He says He is and to have faIth in Him.
There are plenty of witnesses to that Truth. One particular story in Luke come to my mind...

Luke 2: 22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord"), 24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: "a pair of doves or two young pigeons."
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
29 "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismiss your servant in peace.
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel."
33 The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too."
36 There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, 37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. 38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.
The Pope is selling another Jesus and another gospel.
The Genuine Messiah of Israel has the Feasts of Israel as His Feasts. He was born on an appointed day (not December 25 like Rome tells it). He was circumcised 8 days later on an appointed day (not January 1st like Rome tells it) He was presented in the temple 40 days after His birth on an appointed day (not February 2nd like Rome tells it)
He was immersed, baptized, on an appointed day (I have no idea what day Rome says, but the Genuine Day is His 30th Birthday, the 1st Day of the 6th month, also an appointed day).
He began His ministry 40 days later, on an appointed day (Day of Atonement- same day He was presented in the temple at 40 days old)
He laid His life down as the Lamb, for our sins, on the 14th Day of the 1st month, the Feast of Passover.(not good Friday like Rome tells us,)
He was buried and laid in the tomb on the Sabbath,the 15th Day of the 1st month, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.(not Saturday like Rome tells us)
And was raised the 3rd Day, the 1st Day of the week, the 16th Day- another appointed Day- Wave Sheaf. (Not Easter Sunday like Rome tells us)
The Word (Torah) is made flesh.
And Rome has been teaching another one for a long time.
Most call Him Jesus, some Joshua,some Yeshua, some Yahshua or some version therof.
But His Heavens do declare this. At His Feasts the ‘new Testament’ Scriptures are displayed above Israel’s head today when they assemble for the Spring and Fall Feasts.
And Rome with their popes have blinded all people to Awesome Truth. The Messiah is alive and lives forever more. And is returning. Not as the Lamb but as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
Rome has been a vessel to muddy the waters. So subtle.
There is a Messiah according to Scripture.
And there is one according to Rome.
Again, a subtle difference but most won’t see it.
And that subtlety doesn’t end with just rejecting Rome’s Jesus and thinking Rome isn’t influencing ones work and worship life-
The world runs on a Roman calendar named after a Pope.(Pope Gregory)
People don’t know the half of what that counterfeit calendar causes all the world to miss..
(Hint- the Sabbath isn’t Saturday every time- but Rome has convinced people they have been entrusted with the biblical calendar. What an eye opener if people could see that calendar as a clever counterfeit too
Just like Daniel 7:25 says would happen.
People don’t know how deep Rome has influence. But the scriptures says its influence is over the whole world. Hasn’t changed.
