I don’t know that he needed to be preaching on the job. He could just as well have been a muslim trying to recruit in the name of Allah. Because of his position of authority and the position in which they found themselves, the drivers may have felt coerced to give him a “hallelujah” just to be on their way.

If he wished to pray for the soul of dying accident victims etc then God bless him

But cold call proselytizing folks he pulls over would likely not even have been permitted in my youth way back when daydream believer was a top 40 hit
