At my church, LCMS, they preach a lot about sins being forgiven. That no matter what you do, you are forgiven. I don’t hear much about repentance or at least have that explained.
I’m wondering if that’s what happened in Europe? That free grace morphed into anything goes, it doesn’t matter how you live or exactly what you believe, you will still get into heaven?

Well, as usual, when you accept Protestantism as a whole, you get to make your own rules...same sex marriage, female clergy, no Sacraments, divorce and remarriage...whatever...
