Let’s not mince words here: Bashar al-Assad is a genocidal socialist dictator and a barrel-bomb dropping a war criminal who has already murdered a half a million Syrians. The rebels will have their freedom and democracy now, and get rid of their Baathist oppressors whether Orthodox Christians, or any one else for that matter, like it or not.
