Sobering. How often do we Christians in America even remember to pray for those believers who are suffering persecution. I don’t hear about them in church either. We are so comfortable here. Thank you for your post.
Thank you for acknowledging the “Pale” Horse as GREEN (Chloros). It seems that for hundreds of years, otherwise sincere and brilliant Bible Translators have had a problem with John seeing a Green Horse!
They have no problem, however, describing ten-headed beasts, Dragons, or even the glorious sight of the New Jerusalem.
In these troubled times, “GREEN” means a lot more than it did back then:
“Let me see the GREEN” means “Give me Your Money”.
“Go GREEN” means to eschew the One True God and worship the Earth Mother Gaia.
And GREEN is the predominant color of most of the Islamic Flags, as it is reported that green was Mohamed’s favorite color.
Also, as you so perceptively noted in a previous posting, the colors of the four horses, when the pale horse is green, are the colors of the “Palestinian” Flag, and the flags of many other Islamic nations.
