We always hear about Jewish voting. That’s a population of 4 million in America that went 69% for Obama. Yet, catholics are about 69 million and break 50% for Obama.
Worse, the jewish vote is overwhelmingly found in NY, FL, and CA. Catholics are well distributed.
So who really hurts us more? 50% of 69 million well distributed, or 69% of 4 million in 3 states, 2 of which are solid dem?

Also a few notes. Jewish people living ex-pat in Israel were the most reliable GOP voters in the last 2 elections above 90%, only exceeded by some counties in Texas and Oklahoma. Additionally catholics who are active in church vote GOP. The shopping mall non-demoninational protestant churches simply baffle me and almost seem like the unholy love child of a real-estate training seminar, and a new age Sedona guru.

Seems like the worst voters are the ones who are ‘culturally’ members of their religion but not devout.
That’s just my take.

The “progressive post-Christian” Protestants and the “leftist cafeteria Catholics” hurt us much more DUE TO THEIR MUCH LARGER NUMBERS in more states... but all three “groups” do us considerable damage, yes.
They are all fish of the same pond.
They all do not follow very much, if any, of their Biblical faith traditions.
They all agree on 99 percent of their outlooks....which are largely anti-Godly, communistic/socialistic/statist, and
They all vote in unison, too.

psL I do not consider these people Catholics, Jews, or Protestant Christians. They adore false idols (state, socialistic or commie politics, self, worldly things, sometimes money, power, you name it... most all of the traditional false idols that the Biblical tradition teaches against, opposes
I wish it were possible to get these reprobates to stop using the titles Christian, Catholic, or Jewish. This one simple step alone would remove a great amount of confusion!!!

The Catholic vote is much more dependent on region/state than the Jewish vote, there are states in 2012 where the Catholic vote went 70% pub and states where it went 70% dem. So it is more useful to actually count the Catholic vote by the electoral college. For instance, Romney actually won the Catholic vote in 2012 by a landslide by the electoral college by the states that did exit polling. Also, the Catholic vote is much more predictive based on race/ethnicity than the Jewish vote. CA is so Hispanic and leans so dem that it actually pulled the Catholic vote as a % slightly dem in 2012, despite states like NY actually going pub per the catholic vote, something that maybe hasn’t happened since Reagan.

But as you say, the Catholic vote would actually mean something if it went 70% nationally either way, the Jewish vote could go 100% either way and might not affect a single state.
