Following the lead of Pope Francis and his globalist agenda, the American Catholic hierarchy are relegating the prolife ministries to the doctrinal ash heap and committing funds and personnel to promote environmental and migration issues. Catholics are witnessing the bureaucratic deconstruction of the prolife movement in chanceries and the elevation of migration and immigration in its place. Catholic children are learning about the sin of littering, the importance of tree hugging and sexual hugging in the latest Vatican sex education curriculum.

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

I am sure they have all read this at one time or another.

Any “church” that receives $91 million from Caesar isn’t even a religious organization anymore. They might as well shut the USCCB down, and dismiss any bishop or priest who has had any role in procuring these funds.

The staff at USCCB is overwhelmingly left wing Democrats, many of them former staffers for congressional Democrats and left wing think tanks.

These buffoons have the bishops, many of them naive on politics and from Catholic families, accepting their recommendations and writing their position papers.

Remember, it was these guys who funded ACORN with $7 million in parishioners contributions.

Thank you for referencing that article ebb tide. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

I noticed that most or all of the things that the Catholic bishops are receiving “silence” money from the feds for, Congress cannot justify appropriating taxes for such things under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Who said indulgences are a thing of the past?

The Lepanto Institute has reported that 98% of the political donations of the employees at Catholic Relief Services go to pro-abortion politicians.

The bumper stickers in the parking lot at the USCCB are overwhelmingly for pro-abortion candidates.

Catholics used to wonder why our obviously pro-life popes didn’t do something about the pro-abortion bishops. Those days are over. Now we know the Pope is pro-abortion. He punishes pro-life bishops, and rewards the pro-abortion bishops.

Bergoglio has called Emma Bonino, an abortionist who has killed ten thousand babies, “one of Italy’s forgotten greats.”

Indulgences are not a thing of the past.

But none of the corruption in the Catholic Church today has anything remotely to do with indulgences.

Any “church” that receives $91 million from Caesar isn’t even a religious organization anymore.

If you read the full article, you will see the $91 million is just from ONE refugee resettlement program; the total from all programs listed (are there more?) is $311 million.

I quit donating to Catholic Relief Services when I found that over 50% of their money came from the Feds.
