Studying God’s Word ping
I think the Holy Spirit gets a bum rap. God’s Spirit dwells in us and God has change our hearts to seek and understand Him. It was clear that this was not the way it was before Pentecost but it is difficult for us to understand the difference since there is no way of comparing the change. David, the only person in the Old Testament in which the Spirit of God dwell in through his life, was described as a man “after God’s own heart”.
I think all we can do is acknowledge that, because of the Holy Spirit, we have an easier time understand and discerning God’s will than our fellow OT believers.
