In other words, there are no absolute moral norms. It’s all grey, it all depends, we have to decide each individual case without any unchanging standard! This is situation ethics. This is a pseudo-intellectual way of saying “anything goes.”

Satan never gets too original. Much of Protestant teachings have gone the same direction as well as our schools and government.

Moral relativism or situation ethics are from the pit of hell.

Situation ethics were condemned by the Holy Office (now known as the CDF) in 1955. Francis knows that he is taking a position that has already formally been declared heretical.
