Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Heavenly Father,
You are The Almighty God, Everlasting Father, we come humbly in Your Presence seeking mercy on our nation, a nation in distress. We acknowledge that Our Only Hope is in You, Lord.
We pray Your Words of Psalm 91 for our United States of America. You have bestowed upon us immeasurable blessings so bountiful and purposeful. And yet in spite of all of those blessings, we, as a nation, have turned our backs on You.
In these end-time days, we know not how many, we ask for forgiveness and mercy and that You will once again consider us a people who is forever looking to You for deliverance, mercy, and guidance.
Lord, we have a heavy heart for those, all around the world including in America, that are being persecuted for Your Name’s Sake. Please provide them a special dwelling place of peace, rest and strength; and for those committing these heinous acts, we plea for justice and punishment to be served.
We pray for Your protection for our new President, Donald Trump and Vice-President, Mike Pence and their families. We pray also for the safety of our newly appointed leaders at all levels of government. Please expose the evil fowler that is trying to destroy our country from within and without. Let all who have been given positions of authority acknowledge publicly that in America “It is In God that we Trust”. . .God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Our Father, we pray that our country will always stand for the nation of Israel’s right to exist and acknowledge Your Abrahamic Land Covenant with them. . and pray that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will seek Your Wisdom in these difficult times to make those difficult decisions necessary for the preservation and peace for Your People of Your land to Your Glory and Honor. Please surround the Prime Minister with wise counsel. May You deal harshly with those nations who wish to destroy Your Precious Israel and its people. We pray that You will also bring judgment upon those even in our own country (government and citizens) that are at this very moment hatching evil schemes against Israel.
Lord we fervently pray for exposure and swift punishment for those who wish to do harm to our President and Vice-President and godly people of this country. We pray that the wicked will fall by the wayside for all to see and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Provide us with a great shaking that we will wake up to Your ways and seek Your will. We thank You for placing God-fearing men and women in positions of advisement to our President. Please find favor with President Trump who has already shown the desire to put his trust in You and Your Precepts and has already made decisions that honor You. We pray that he will continue and always seek Your Will and Way in decisions affecting the direction of our nation. Many positions have yet to be filled, including the Supreme Court, and we know that You already have the perfect choices for the asking, if our leadership will only put their trust and faith in You.
We pray You will not find us individually and as a nation afraid to take stances that are unpopular . . . for we know that You are our ever-present Shield, a very Present Help in times of trouble.
Let the Christian leaders and citizenry of this nation cry out “The LORD is my refuge,” and make You their Sanctuary, so that none will befall to harm and disaster. For we know that You have promised that Your angels will protect us in all of our ways, lifting us up so that we will not stumble. With Your guidance and protection we can overcome and take command over any obstacles that are put in our paths. . . those obstacles that have been specifically designed to interrupt or completely stop the progress of returning greatness and decency to our country, even greatness to our own individual situations and circumstances.
We acknowledge that You have command of everything. We pray for the protection of our men and women in uniform as well as the safety and provisions for their families. We pray that our new administration will immediately enforce appropriate health care and benefits for our Veterans and Disabled Veterans and their families.
We pray for special blessings for those who would honor You both in word and deed within all levels of government, health care systems, businesses, agri-businesses and industries, the judiciary, educational systems, prisons, agencies, churches, law enforcement, protective and emergency services, homes and media. We pray against untruths in the media and in education. Please guard our citizens’ minds against the evil one who roams like a lion, seeking whom he may devour. Expose evil at its lowest and highest levels.
We pray for the public disclosure of the atrocities of sex trafficking, as well as elder and child abuse and neglect. . .that those who are responsible for such evil actions will be brought to justice and severely punished. We pray for safe water and food supplies and protection against cyber, solar, terrorist, and nuclear attacks, as well as the revelation of medicinal and health care practices that are not of Your will.
We pray especially for boldness in our Bible believing churches . . . that they will turn from being lukewarm/dead and instead take a bold stance for righteousness for Your Sake no matter the threat of retaliation from those who sadly have no relationship with You or no fear of Your Holy Presence.
We pray that You will always find us acknowledging You in all that we say and do. . .giving You all the Praise and Glory and thanking You for Your promise of protection and deliverance in times of trouble.
Oh how we marvel at Your Love and Your Gift of Salvation for all who believe. In our midst of trials and tribulations that we are experiencing as a nation, please help us share the Good News of Hope, Your Son Jesus, to a lost and dying world . . .Please provide a way so that all nations and peoples will witness the United States of America becoming blessed because of her people standing proudly as the nation whose God is only You, Lord.
I pray a special blessing for the faithful all across this nation and even world who are praying daily for and with this Free Republic America Prayer Vigil thread. Many are facing sickness and problems in their own lives. I humbly ask for hope and answered prayer. We are a group who reverence Your Holiness. Please keep us safe from harm and always guide our prayers that they are in keeping with Your Will. Thank You for Your graciousness and guidance. . . and the knowledge of Your Ever Presence. In Your Son’s Precious and Holy Name, Jesus. . .King of kings and Lord of lords. Hallelujah and Amen.

We now have a President who is unafraid to call YOUR name and profess to talking with YOU, asking for YOUR help and guidance. We, as a united group, do the same. Bless President Trump, send Your Angels to guard him from all harm. In reaching out to YOU, he knows without YOUR guidance he will not succeed. Touch him, show him YOUR power and YOUR glory. Instill within him your love, YOUR light and wisdom. This nation can unite only if YOU endow our leaders withe the knowledge required. As they ask for Your help, please bestow your light upon them.

I was reading your Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem Thread and one of the latest featured Psalms you posted was Psalm 91. I always ask God what scripture to use when posting for this Prayer Vigil thread and felt He instilled in my heart to use Psalm 91 this time.

Father God, we thank You that we are able to witness Your Holy Spirit moving through this nation. We thank You for a safe and exciting week with the new administration.
Hallelujah! You are becoming more center in Donald Trump’s life. We ask that he find renewed strength, wisdom and shelter at Your feet. We ask that he be filled with Your Holy Spirit and that he know the calm and peace to be Your servant.
Lead him to select the best possible team who will support him as he brings this nation away from the darkness and chaos, and into Your Light. We ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

What an awesome thing to behold: Someone with the public visibility of Trump growing In Christ.
Surround him with a mighty army of angels, Lord, that he may be safe from spiritual attack while witnessing to the whole world the love, trust, faith, wisdom and peace to know our Lord God and Savior.
