And as for those who do not confess that Jesus is the Son of God, well, if you are going to call out one religion, you had better speak also of the other religion that denies Jesus is of the Father, and unlike the Koran that calls Jesus a great prophet, this other religion’s holy book calls him a bastard, the son of a whore, and false prophet. What do we know about George the younger since his presidency ended? He’s been very quiet. Do you suppose he thinks he made some seriously bad decisions during his presidency and feels shame?

you know, a person that spends a lot of time telling people that they’re wasting his time is making some pretty poor choices. you’d probably be much happier doing something else.

You can't go to church on Sunday, never go to Sunday school, never go to a home Bible study, and ever learn enough about the Bible to be dangerous to Satan. I could get 10 Freepers in a room that profess Bible knowledge and it would be embarrassing, in 15 minutes. I'm not ragging on people but just stating the facts that learning about the Lord and His plans is about 15th place down the list of things for most people. They believe they have an understanding of just what is going on using a carnal mind.
I spend an inordinate amount of time studying the Bible and feel I don't even scratch the surface yet. Everywhere I go I'm asked to speak or teach because they seem to think I have some insight they don't have. I've found it's not so much what I know as much as what they don't know.
I home schooled my daughter and found that Texas had high school textbooks on the Bible back in the '50's. They were so advanced compared to today, I am convinced many pastors today couldn't pass a test for a normal HS student in the '50's.
What Bush is showing here is he's not ready to get off the "milk" and onto the meat of Scripture. Many Christians today are "Christians" because mom and dad were and have no idea what they signed up for. These are the ones that will fall away and their love will grow cold in the last days. They built their house on sand.
I would encourage everyone, no matter what level you think you are, to go for more. More study, more reading, more Sunday School, more church, more home Bible study, and most of all volunteer to teach a class. If you are a beginner, teach the children. But what I find is the more responsibility you have, the quicker you learn. For those that think they know enough, or even know more than the next guy, that is a sign of pride. If you are unteachable, you cannot grow. If Bush makes simple mistakes like this, just think of his church. What kind of teachers did he have? Is his pastor satisfied with the level of knowledge of his parishioners? If he has unqualified teachers, what is he doing about it? If Bush doesn't know this much, chances are good there are more than just Bush.
It would be a good question to ask Trump some of these questions. I'll bet he does no better than Bush.
