Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The Musical Notes at the Beginning of this Psalm explain that it was written by David "While hiding in a cave". People with even a casual knowledge of the Scriptures know that David was providing "Music Therapy" for King Saul and was a faithful servant of the king, but Saul became insanely jealous of him, and threatened his life a number of times. David had to flee to the wilderness, even taking up with the Philistines for a time, to preserve his life.
David wrote some magnificent Psalms during that dark time, and they have been preserved for us in the Canon of Scripture.
Often, through no fault of our own, we find ourselves in a dark place. It could be the loss of a job, a friendship, a loved one, or even our own personal safety. David knows, that in times like these, there is only ONE place to turn...to the Lord.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
God Bless America!
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
Hallelujah and Amen

Lord You knew the times we would be in before the earth's foundations. You preserved this Word so that we could boldly turn to You not just in times of trouble, but in times of blessing.
The soldier in the picture has one hand on the wall, the other on his weapon, a symbol that as we drink from You we also are to be alert to the enemy's devices.
And Father, may each of us in the Body have one another's backs, the one area of vulnerability. I would like to lift up the creator of this thread to You that she would be strengthened in her faith through Your love and care for her.
Where the Psalm reads no one cares for our soul, we pray you would bring true and faithful fellowship her way. Meet all of her needs in Christ Jesus today. Cause blessings to spill over her in return to her one hundred times over, A-men.

You could say David’s musical writings in the cave were the first “Cliff Notes.” ;)

I cry to you, Lord;
I say, You are my refuge,
my portion in the land of the living.
