Instruct her (the ghost) to confer with the spirits of several reputable deceased theologians, from all across the religious spectrum.

Or we could shop around, like the Democrats, until we find one with the answer we like!

He purpose is to fulfill the former and later rain. G-d teaches through judaism of 7 festivals will be fulfilled at their appointed times. Messiah superimposed his 1st coming events on top of passover, hag hamatza, first fruits and shavot. After counting the omer he appeared at (penticost) which was 1st established on top of mt. sini. and establishing a covenent with Israel or “believer” in Hashem. This stuff is pretty basic into info. The next time you see him he will be superimposing the later rain events (appointed times)
Rosh ha shanna, yom kippor and sukkot, and after 1335 days Hanukkah. shalom

Msgr. Pope has a very fertile mind in searching through matters that are useful to consider. This meditation is excellent, to prompt the Bible student to contemplate the forty days of Jesus' post-Resurrection encouragement and instruction of the disciples. It was in this period that the remaining members of his chosen inner circle were ordained as Apostles.

And within this scope, I believe it is a matter for pondering when Jesus invited Peter (who had "gone a-fishing"; Jn. 21:3), back from his fall into denial (Mt. 10:31-33, Mt. 26:75, Lk. 22:62), to restore him to his first estate as one of the followers that He could rely on to feed and tend His sheep and lambs as an under-shepherd (Jn. 21:15-17): "Feed My lambs"; "Tend My sheep"; "Feed my sheep."

Thus, accepting this ordained employment, it seems that he would be counted on to fulfill the charge to strengthen the other of the brethren, and not be set aside as a hireling (Jn. 10:12), but as one in having a stake with them in the forming of the earthly ministry of the Gospel (Mt. 28:18-20, Mk. 16:15, Lk. 24:47), the Word of Christ, and the salvation of souls from a dying world.
