Burger King had the “Pride Whopper”, and I stopped going there. The Pride Fries seem to be restricted to local stores in SF and DC, but the national org is funding the march.
I am conflicted, as the local McDonalds’ are owned by our State Rep, who is a pretty sound guy in his votes.
Lowes’ supports Planned Parenthood, but the local Lowes’ donated paint and other things for the new Crisis Pregnancy Center. I figured that more than cancels out the PP donation as far as the local store is concerned.
You have a point. Most McDonald’s are franchises, owned be individuals and by location. No reason to punish local, conservative people for what Leftist San Fran is doing. Not necessarily corporate decision.
The owners of the McDonald’s here are Christians. Franchise owners like them must feel betrayed by the corporation.
I won’t be boycotting the local McDonald’s as I’m positive they would never bring in obnoxious food packaging. I don’t eat there much, but my husband brings the kids there.
