Any dictator who is murdering Christians, especially Catholics, can depend on Bergoglio for support.
Of late I’ve come to the conclusion that this pope is nothing more than the last desperate gasp of air for an aging cadre of leftist clerics and theologians who have been mumbling to themselves for the last half century, “if only one of us were pope!” The next decade will see most of them pass along, and with them their dreams for a radical rupture with a tradition with which their ilk have been uncomfortable since Trent.
The Church will prevail, stronger, but as Benedict warned, smaller. Much property will be lost in the process but it it will be well worth it in order to reestablish the Oneness of the Holy and Apostolic Church.
