In any case, the Catholics on FR are pioneers in this line of thinking, so I don’t think it productive to scold them for this.

I didn’t say The Catholic vote never went for a Republican. What I said was that most Catholics do not care about abortion.

The majority of Catholic voters went for Obama and Bill Clinton. If Catholics voted as the Church’s teaching requires, pro-abortion candidates would get no Catholic votes.
