The Catholic church never had the true Bible in the first place so it really doesn’t matter.
Is that so? Who had the “true Bible” then? The Gnostics? The Lutherans? Oh wait, Lutherans and other Protestants didn’t show up until the 1500s, 1100 years AFTER the canon of scripture was closed.
