No different than what the Israelites complained about in the wilderness- they certainly weren’t longing to leave this life-

And why not praise God for death? It is what ultimately brings us home.

That is a very provocative thought, not one you hear much of today.

While that is true for the beleiver, sadly, many people will not be in that category and for that reason, justifiably fear death.

Yet in one respect, death is a gift since it does not keep us locked in this sinful state forever. It is our opportunity for a fresh start in Jesus Christ for a sin free existance in right relationship with God as He intended man to have.
