I agree, he was pretty common-sense in his approach, I thought. In our area, there are more Hispanic/Mexicans in church, they are good people. The problem with illegal immigration is that we really have no idea what we are getting, and they start out by breaking a law.

Yes, metaphorically. He is advocating for ignoring our borders and allowing a flood of immigrants. Some of these people are dangerous. And, dangerous or not, people who flood into our country from cultures that do not hold to the values that are the bedrock of American culture and governance will cause chaos and destroy our country, which is exactly why the left wants this torrent of immigrants.

12 years of catholic school in the 50’s and 60’s.
The Catholic Church is as dead to me now as the NFL.
