I was raised and am still a member of a Southern Baptist Church. Most of them typically use the KJV but I don’t recall any of them saying it was the only version to use.

It really does read majestically.

Yes it does. I use the NASB though. I’ve gotten to listening to the OT in Hebrew. Not that I know what it means but I love hearing “Adonai” and the few words or names I know.

Question for everyone...I was wondering, when Jesus rules the world will Hebrew or Aramaic be the first language for everyone? Will we all speak one language like we did before the tower of Babel? What language was that?

KJV Only is found more in the Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches.

It really does read majestically.

More preachers who use the KJV spend most of their time translating it to modern English. I prefer the New King James.
