“There is often great disagreement among young people, both within the Church and in the wider world, about the teachings of the Church which are especially controversial today, for example: contraception, abortion, homosexuality, cohabitation, permanency of marriage, and the male priesthood,” it reads.

And the Pope and his bishops are seeking advice from these yutes?

It’s absolutely infuriating to read this sort of thing. The many Catholics (including bishops, all the way to the very top) who believe that jettisoning Church teachings on sexual morality is some sort of recipe for ecclesiastical success and relevance conveniently ignore the fact that this approach has ALREADY BEEN TRIED by the liberal protestant churches of Europe and North America and has been a complete and total failure. I mean, for cryin’ out loud, if the Church of Sweden or Presbyterian Church USA were packin’ in the crowds with lax teaching on sexuality, it wouldn’t make it right but it would at least make it understandable that some Catholics would want to copy of it. As it is, though, it’s like a retailer saying, ‘Hey, I’ve got a great idea, let’s copy the business plan of Montgomery Wards!”

Sorry, but truth is not determined by democratic vote or the views of liberal indoctrinated yoots, who will be manipulated by the Pope’s left wing ideological fixers anyway... The Church must hold firm to her teachings on faith and morals handed down from the Apostles.

“Consensus”. I’m getting sick of that word. It’s not part of the scientific method, and God doesn’t judge the world on a class average. Popularity and political correctness is the broad road that leads to destruction.

There can be no return to sexual morality which would allow the continued existence of homosexuality in the priesthood. That is the big problem.

“Some 300 young people from all over the world from different backgrounds and even different religions...”

So...?

Giving the boys an opportunity to have one-on-one interchanges with a Bishop?

Perhaps they should get back to scripture for a change.
