Well, yes it does. Paul would not contradict himself as Scripture cannot be contradictory. That is why you have to read the NT in context.

And yes, the Greek does have merit. The words Paul and the other writers used were specific and guided by the Spirit.

I know the vast majority of RCs don't know the Greek. To be fair most Christians don't either. It does take studying to understand the language.
