The key to understanding the nature of God is to know that God does not know sin. Sin is separation from Him and He cannot be separated from Himself.
Free Will is a choice. Either to do God’s Will and live in Him or to reject His Will and live apart from Him, that is, to live in sin. When we are in sin He does not know us because we are separate from Him.
Does God know that we sin? Yes, He knows we are separate from Him and thereby are in darkness.
Does God have first hand knowledge of sin? How is this possible? God is light, not dark. God is good, not evil. There is no darkness in Him. Sin is chaos. Sin is death. Sin is error. God is none of these.
Does God judge us for sin? We place ourselves outside the acceptance of God by sin. God cannot accept sin.
God so loved the world He sent His own begotten Son that who ever believes in Him shall have eternal life with God.
Through Christ our sin is hidden from God. It is in the cleft of the rock. It is dead on the cross. Through Christ’s resurrection we overcome the death of sin.
