Psalm 83 and Revelation's Shape of the Locusts

Jeremiah 16:19 O YHVH, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of
affliction, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers
have inherited nought but lies, even vanity and things wherein there is no profit.

Keep that verse in mind...

Psalm 83:1 [A Song, a Psalm of Asaph.]

שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לְאָסָף׃

2 ELoHIM, keep not thou silence: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

אֱלֹהִים אַל־דֳּמִי־לָךְ אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ וְאַל־תִּשְׁקֹט אֵל׃

3 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult; And they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

כִּי־הִנֵּה אוֹיְבֶיךָ יֶהֱמָיוּן וּמְשַׂנְאֶיךָ נָשְׂאוּ רֹאשׁ׃

4 They take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones.

עַל־עַמְּךָ יַעֲרִימוּ סוֹד וְיִתְיָעֲצוּ עַל־צְפוּנֶיךָ׃

5 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

אָמְרוּ לְכוּ וְנַכְחִידֵם מִגּוֹי וְלֹא־יִזָּכֵר שֵׁם־יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹד׃

6 For they have consulted together with one consent; Against thee do they make a covenant:

כִּי נוֹעֲצוּ לֵב יַחְדָּו עָלֶיךָ בְּרִית יִכְרֹתוּ׃

7 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;

אָהֳלֵי אֱדוֹם וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִים מוֹאָב וְהַגְרִים ׃

8 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:

גְּבָל וְעַמּוֹן וַעֲמָלֵק פְּלֶשֶׁת עִם־יֹשְׁבֵי צוֹר׃

9 Assyria also is joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot.

גַּם־אַשּׁוּר נִלְוָה עִמָּם הָיוּ זְרוֹעַ לִבְנֵי־לוֹט סֶלָה׃

10 Do thou unto them as unto Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

עֲשֵׂה־לָהֶם כְּמִדְיָן כְּסִיסְרָא כְיָבִין בְּנַחַל קִישׁוֹן׃

11 Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.

נִשְׁמְדוּ בְעֵין־דֹּאר הָיוּ דֹּמֶן לָאֲדָמָה׃

12 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

שִׁיתֵמוֹ נְדִיבֵמוֹ כְּעֹרֵב וְכִזְאֵב וּכְזֶבַח וּכְצַלְמֻנָּע כָּל־נְסִיכֵמוֹ׃

13 Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession The habitations of God.

אֲשֶׁר אָמְרוּ נִירֲשָׁה לָּנוּ אֵת נְאוֹת אֱלֹהִים׃

14 O my God, make them like the whirling dust; As stubble before the wind.

אֱלֹהַי שִׁיתֵמוֹ כַגַּלְגַּל כְּקַשׁ לִפְנֵי־רוּחַ׃

15 As the fire that burneth the forest, And as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire,

כְּאֵשׁ תִּבְעַר־יָעַר וּכְלֶהָבָה תְּלַהֵט הָרִים ׃

16 So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.

כֵּן תִּרְדְּפֵם בְּסַעֲרֶךָ וּבְסוּפָתְךָ תְבַהֲלֵם׃

17 Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek thy name, O YHVH.

מַלֵּא פְנֵיהֶם קָלוֹן וִיבַקְשׁוּ שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה ׃

18 Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;

יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִבָּהֲלוּ עֲדֵי־עַד וְיַחְפְּרוּ וְיֹאבֵדוּ׃

19 That they may know that thou alone, whose name is YHVH, Art the Most High over all the earth.

וְיֵדְעוּ כִּי־אַתָּה שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה לְבַדֶּךָ עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ׃

The fourth kingdom

Daniel 7:8 “While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being and a mouth that spoke boastfully.

Daniel 7:24 The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, And shall subdue three kings.

Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Muammur Kaddafi was the third king uprooted, the other two, Hosni Mubarak and Saddam Hussein. And uprooted is the perfect word as these three together had nearly 100 years of combined rule. No small feat indeed.

Revelation 17:7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

The ten nations are listed in Psalm 83. The king in Daniel 7:24 is the ruler/anti-Christ and after he rises to power, three kings are uprooted.

The Shape of the Locusts

Revelation 9:7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. 10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

Amos 7:1 Thus the Lord YHVH showed me: and, behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

We are all looking at the latter growth of the locusts!
