Heavenly Father –

In these evil days, it seems chaos and deception rule. Good is called evil. Evil is good. Light is darkness. Darkness is light. And this quote from George Orwell comes to mind:

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

But Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Thank You, Lord, for You are rich in mercy, giving us all an opportunity to repent. And as Jesus said in John 3:16-18,

For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life.

For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world,
but to save the world through Him.

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned,
but whoever does not believe stands condemned already
because they have not believed
in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Likewise, in Psalm 2:12 —

Kiss the Son,
lest He be angry,
and ye perish from the way,
when His wrath is kindled but a little.

Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.,

Fill us with the Holy Spirit, Lord. Equip us to fight for what is right as You give us discernment to see the right. Grant us Wisdom, courage, and strength to stand firm.

Likewise, grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 115th Congress. Protect them. Frustrate the enemy within.

May Your Provident hand move in the 2018 mid-term elections and raise up godly representatives who look out for We, the People. May godly judges rise to the bench—especially justices to the Supreme Court.

HOLY FATHER, we pray for our nation. You,Who was known to be praised
on our town square, in the halls of our government, in the classrooms
of our future. You were removed and forbidden to be mentioned.
What EVIL is this?
We've lost so much; tossed it aside and replaced it
with trivia and emptiness. We are so callus,
we feel we can do without You.
In so doing, we find ourselves destroying all around us.
FATHER, teach us we can no longer ignore You.
YOU have made us. YOU have taught us.
You have given us life and a world in which we live.

Thank YOU, Father. We've Faith that once again,
we will be shown Your Grace and we will once again
learn to acknowledge Your Love toward us.
