Ha! That was an easy, shooting-fish-in-a-barrel kind of comment. You know very well that the Catholic Faith is not a "Sola Scriptura" thing and has many, many human-made aspects.

(As do almost all churches, although they don't acknowledge it in quite those terms. Did the Gospels tell your church to apply for a 501(c)(3)? Does your pastoral staff have a pension plan?)

We have never even claimed that all our doctrines are explicitly ipsissimi verbi to be found in the lexicons or concordances of the OT and the NT. "Trinity" anyone? "Incarnation"?

"Sola Scriptura" is not even to be found in the Bible. Somehow God forgot to include that in Scripture.
