I shudder to think of all those young people among the Cardinals.
I doubt they are going to cancel that “opportunity”.

The lay people I know who have attended the big Youth events typically do not mingle with the Cardinals and bishops. They are out in big crowds for public masses. Not a big risk of meeting a corrupt bishop. OTOH, maybe the seminarians and young priests should carry mace.

Rules One, Three, Five, and Seven are all the same.
NO POOFTERS.
The Bishops should take it to heart. Many of them should resign, in order to be compliant with the rules.

You know things are bad when The Flying Circus offers better formation for seminarians than many seminaries.

Poor Chaput. He tries. Considering that Bergoglio has specifically identified him as the sort of right-wing America bishop he hates, I’m guessing that Chaput’s suggestion isn’t going to carry a lot of weight.

"Considering that Bergoglio has specifically identified him as the sort of right-wing America bishop he hates, Im guessing that Chaputs suggestion isnt going to carry a lot of weight." I suspect that the good bishop will view that declaration from the Poofter Pope as a badge of honor.

Outstanding!
God Bless AB Chaput!
His voice WILL carry weight precisely because he has been marginalized for being faithful to Christ and His teachings.
There must be a mechanism for the faithful clergy to overcome the stacked deck that Pope Francis and his team have put in place.

2) He said there was no difference between Trump and Clinton
Ummmmmmm, no.

I couldn’t care less about his mundane politics....I’m far more interested in his Catholic orthodoxy. Compared to the Poofter Pope he is far superior.
