A good history summary that has brought us to the current crisis. When evil rises in the world, it always attacks the Church. Like America, She can't be destroyed from without so they worked their way in like a cancer.

Jesus said to throw these “priests” into the sea with a big rock tied around their necks.

...gave the bishops 16 years to clean up this mess and they did nothing. Now we are hearing from the bishops the same exact thing that we heard back in 2002: “Oh we need more policies and we need to do…” Nonsense. We need action, we don’t need more policies, but nobody is listening. It’s too late. The bishops are even admitting that they have lost all of their moral authority. Nobody trusts them anymore...

It's time for action... serious action if the Catholic Church wants to function as a Church ...

“...after this grand jury report came out a few days ago from Pennsylvania, there are several more states already talking about doing their own grand jury investigation. It will probably go all over the place, so... there is going to be more in the news coming up.

“And as sad as this is, we have to recognize that it is actually something very good. It is the purification of the Church, and that is going to lead ultimately to her crucifixion.

“Not many are going to remain faithful, unfortunately. But when we look at it and say: ‘well if this is what is going on in the Church what are we supposed to do?’

“We are supposed to look at Jesus and say exactly what St. Peter said, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life’.”

It was interesting to me to read that the corruption in the RCC started in the 1920s, around the time of the Soviet Revolution. That was when the Methodist church I grew up in started to be infiltrated with communists through their missionary programs in South America and Africa. Missionaries came back from these places with the poisonous "liberation theology", and started to change the national administration, the regional conferences and the seminaries. The UMC of today is a Democrat Party outpost at the higher levels--as is the RCC in America, in my opinion. Only some of the grassroots locales are still faithful Christians, but even those are corrupted by a "works" mentality and very little true surrender to the Lord. I've rarely heard a true broken-hearted, humble prayer from the pulpit or any other Methodist situation. It's more about the virtue-signaling and directing God to take care of various congregational and social justice issues. There was even a "social justice" clause in the UMC Book of Discipline decades ago.

I sincerely hope and pray for a cleansing to take place in every jot and tittle of the Body of Christ, every church, denomination, every author and seminary, every so-called "scholar" or "academic" daring to interpret, preach, administer or teach. May all of these places have their demons driven off the cliff, and may every empty vessel be filled not with seven more, but with the Holy Spirit of the One, True, Eternal and Everlasting Triune God.

"For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many. Then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or 'There He is,' do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." —Matthew 24:5-26

**But remember our faith is not in priests, it is not in bishops or cardinals, it is not even in the Pope. Our faith is in Jesus Christ, period. **

Amen!
