Around JAN 2016, the last church with which I sang in choir, seemingly lost a court dispute with another faction and priest, and the then current congregation had to vacate.
The dispute, as far as I could tell, centered primarily on one group wanting to move more traditionally Roman Catholic, and my group which was more decidedly Anglican Catholic.
As I’ve indicated before, I personally am Noachide, yet I’ve long loved the musical traditions within the Anglican movement.
Now, suddenly, the court has ruled a seemingly final time to restore the Anglican group to the church.
I figure there’s a big Catholic church just three blocks away, and the other group can say their Rites there to their heart’s content.
I lost quite a bit of hearing in my right ear on a gun range about a year-and-a-half back, just wearing plugs instead of plugs and ear-muffs. Thus I kind’a think my choir singing days are over. But I’m just as happy about being part of the old church as a congregant, and hopefully watch and aid its growth as much as I otherwise can.
We’ll see what happens.

It is very sad when factions mess up a Fellowship, but very much in line with what we are studying today.
ALWAYS wear double protection at the range...your unfortunate experience is a lesson to us all.
I too, am a hearing impaired musician. BUT we are in good company...Beethoven, Pete Townsend, Ted Nugent, Eric Clapton, and a few others are all in the same boat.
