How many times did Peter deny Christ preceding His crucifixion? Of course, Peter repented and was forgiven.
No judgment of you here, just wanting to put a bit of perspective on the table here in terms of man’s fallibility.

Peter's denial took place before the Holy Spirit was given to all believers beginning on the day of Pentecost. After that, Peter was willing to face being crucified upside-down.
That same Holy Spirit permanently in dwells every one who believes. He gives us the strength to live for Christ, and to unflinchingly stand for the truth, no matter what the cost.
