We are here today in the name of Jesus, dear gracious God, You have taught us how good You are.  Each day with its new reasons You reveal greater depths of Your love, and we are so grateful.  You are the God who is “deeply concerned about us and causes all things to work together as a plan for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” (‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Today we want to pray about the health care system in the United States of America.  As we have looked around our world, we see people with all kinds of skills, abilities and interests.  You created each one for a special purpose!  “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable [for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call].” (‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭11:29‬ ‭AMP‬‬) “Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them accordingly” (‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Thank You for all the compassionate and skillful people You have called into serving our physical bodies. Many of them are hindered from providing the level of care that is in their hearts to give because of a “system” problem.  I don’t know all the reasons why, but You do.  We are asking for healing of this system.  In the name of Jesus, we come against greed and selfish ambition.  We ask You for people called by Your Name with the wisdom, knowledge and skill necessary to make health care function in excellence.  Remove people who are there for the wrong reasons and put them where You designed for them to go.

We ask You for an outpouring of Your Spirit among those in that are in that profession.  With their intimate experiences with life, death and the miracle of the human body,  open their eyes to the awesome and holy Creator and giver of Life.  Give them physical and emotional strength for the demands placed on them.  We pray that You would give Your angels charge concerning them.  Keep them safe from plagues, pestilence, and physical dangers caused by dangerous neighborhoods in which many health care facilities are located.  Bless them for their service to people, but help them to realize that the successes are all by Your grace.

We are believers here today.  We thank You for answering our prayers.  Amen.  “Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!”” (‭‭MARK‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Joining you in Prayer, Dear Albion Wilde, in Jesus Holy Name.

Prayers for all the folks in the “Polar Vortex”, especially those without adequate shelter. I am safe and warm in my little mobile home, but am concerned about my outdoor fuel lines freezing, as it has happened before. Right now, it is in single digits and windy, but the heat is still cranking away, Thank God!

Amen and amen to these petitions for our nation's caregivers, dear Hiskid! May those intending to participate in abortion be smitten by the Holy Spirit and leave their old life behind, devoting themselves to healing and life, in Jesus' name! Amen!

ROMANS 1:18-22
For God in heaven unveils His holy anger breaking forth against every form of sin, both toward ungodliness that lives in hearts and evil actions. For the wickedness of humanity deliberately smothers the truth and keeps people from acknowledging the truth about God. In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively,for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as His eternal power and transcendence. He has made His wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.

Throughout human history the fingerprints of God were upon them, yet they refused to honor Him as God or even be thankful for His kindness. Instead, they entertained corrupt and foolish thoughts about what God was like. This left them with nothing but misguided hearts, steeped in moral darkness. Although claiming to be super-intelligent, they were in fact shallow fools...

FATHER GOD,

We are made in Your image. Our bodies are living temples indwelt by the HOLY SPIRIT. You are glorified by works of Your Hands and through the wonders of Your creation. There is no other GOD but You.

Speak to the hearts of legislators, judges, church leaders, and all employed in the medical, educational, and scientific communities. Open their eyes to godless, humanistic ideologies and practices that have infiltrated their professions. May Your precepts and goodness be reestablished within them and these institutions.

GOD speaks...

Listen to Me, all you rebel-kings and all you upstart judges of the earth. Learn your lesson while there’s still time. Serve and worship the awe-inspiring God. Recognize His greatness and bow before Him, trembling with reverence in His presence. Fall facedown before Him and kiss the Son before His anger is roused against you. Remember that His wrath can be quickly kindled! But many blessings are waiting for all who turn aside to hide themselves in Him! (Psalm 2:10-12)
