You know, replace "Judaism of old" and "Talmudic Judaism" with "'new testament' chrstianity" and "Summa Theologica Catholicism," and you have something very close to a "Protestant revolt" . . . don't you?
You know, for over six years I read in numerous Catholic magazines and books that one reason Catholics were better than Fundamentalists was that Fundamentalists were old-fashioned, narrow-minded fogies who believed that one must actually be a chrstian to be "saved," while Catholics are broad-minded, tolerant hep cats who realize that the fact the Hebrew Bible never required everyone to be Jewish is a "type" or "shadow" of the fact that nowadays G-d doesn't require everyone to be chrstian, either.

If you want to equate Jews with Muslims, go for it.

They both reject Jesus Christ as God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.

But are these sinful men Catholic? That is the real issue here.
