And he has also said that Israel did not want the headache of governing the Gaza Strip any longer

Well then. What's the plan?

So far, the plan has been to make peace without conquest, with people who want you dead.

This is a failure. I see no evidence that Israel has the will to exterminate the Gaza population, or even to inflict so much terror and carnage that the survivors see the wisdom of peace.

Therefore.

Israel does not want to govern a hostile and reckless population, but the fantasy of peace without conquest is just that, a fantasy. So, as I see it, Israel can either undertake war on a massive scale against these people, savage and cruel war; or they can stay there forever and pay the price of constant low-level war against their civilians, or they can abandon the project and go elsewhere.

It will eventually be under Israeli control, one way or another, since it is part of the Promised Land.

Can’t predict exactly how this will happen.

I agree that Israel has no hostile intentions against the people. The basic problem is that the “Palestinians” want Israel gone. Their whole raison d’etre is based on hatred for Israel. So benevolence had no effect on them when Israel ruled Gaza and still has no effect. Basically, one side would like peace and the other side would like eradication.
