Heavenly Father –
As we pass into summer, may we praise You, Lord, for the times and seasons are in your hands. May we learn to number our days on earth as mortals are short---then we enter eternity.
And
Forgive our distractions, Lord. And trivial pursuits. May we become focused on the tasks You’ve gifted us in this life. Ones that bear fruit in this life and the next.
May we heed the warning of Thomas Paine during evil days as we meet in prayer for the soul of our nation:
As candidates gear up for the coming 2020 election cycle, may Your hand of Providence move the hearts of the electorate. May God fearing men and women be raised up and lead our nation into righteousness. Likewise godly judges to the bench.
Expose the hidden agendas and political machinations of the evil one. Those lies that call good evil, evil good, light darkness, darkness light. Also, expose the lies and propaganda promoted in the press and various media.
May the Spirit fill and empower President Trump and Vice President Pence, their staffs, their families, their friends. Grant them discernment, strength, and courage to do the right thing.
If it be Your will, Lord, may America become the nation You intended her to be. May that be because our people put their trust in You.

Lord, we pray for the integrity of elections. We pray that there will be no cheats and frauds this time. We pray that the medias attempts to stir up controversy and push their agenda will fail. We pray that this nation will restore the rule of law, restore our respect for the Constitution, and will restore our trust in You. May the evil one no longer be allowed to drag this nation down.
