I’m not Catholic, so it’s not up to me, but how long is this man going to be tolerated?
Magic is a sin against the first commandment. The Catholic Church condemns it. False witness is a sin too.
There’s a theolgical debate about that. The manna was either spider poop covered with morning frost, or psilocybin mushrooms. These profound insights are taught in some US seminaries.
Beautiful!
This man is goofy! He is now taking away miracles quoted in the bible and rewriting them to fit his secular vision of the world. If it was in fact sharing, where does the 12 baskets of leftovers come in? This man is really dangerous! I pray that God removes him quickly.
Perhaps magic is not the correct word. Why would a traveler wear a St. Christopher medallion around their neck? Why wear a brown scapular to escape hell fire damnation? Does saying "Hail Marys" repetitiously have any value? If so, what?
That’s how I envisioned it also.
tidbit—
the pope wears trousers under the thin white fabric. The tradition is white silk trousers in warmer months and white velvet in winter.
This pope refuses to wear the custom-made trousers and instead insists on wearing black cloth pants like his days in Argentina.
This has caused consternation among the people who attend the pope, and among a few jesuits who are not happy with the lack of dignity reflected upon the Order.
In a few photos with outdoor light just so, you can see the black underneath the papal robes.
In John’s gospel the feeding of the multitude is seen as a sign that Jesus was a great prophet. When the crowd finds Him the next day, Jesus accuses them of looking for or following Him because they ate of the loaves and were filled.
There is no doubt that He did indeed multiply the loaves and the fish so that all were satisfied.
This pope is frightening and his ideas are multiplying among too many priests.
We had a visiting priest at our parish yesterday. He has been there before and I do not care for him or his sermons. He is a far left agitator so when I saw him I was disappointed knowing his sermon would be a liberal diatribe against the congregants.
It was what I expected and I would so have liked to say something but I have only an hour to get from Mass to my job across town.
He said something very similar to the pope, in that, Jesus is teaching us how to share and that it is our responsibility to see that everyone is satisfied. I don’t disagree that we are called to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned etc. Jesus makes that very clear.
This priest then went on to speak of the children imprisoned on our border and the LGBTQ community that are not welcomed in our parishes.
According to this priest, donating food or clothing or money is not enough if we are not opening our homes and lives to those on the fringe of society. He outright said that we are receiving the Eucharist unworthily.
I serve at this Mass every Sunday so I was sitting in the front row. I thought of getting up and walking out but didn’t. I have considered speaking to my pastor, but he is a bit of a SJW too so I don’t think it would do any good.
Even more frustrating for me is that Sundays like this are a good time to give the congregation a catechism lesson on the Eucharist. Considering the polls that show a large percentage of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence, and as the Body and Blood of Christ are the Source and Summit of our faith, a lesson on why we believe would have served a better purpose than his lame SJW garbage.
That must explain why some priests develop into homosexuals and pederasts and cannot keep their vows.
Thanks for providing the link. In context its very clear that he is not denying the miracle. He is saying that Jesus started breaking the five loaves and those same five loaves never ran out and fed the multitudes. Thats a miracle and not what Pius was warning against. Its also not what naturalists argue about people pulling sandwiches from their pockets.
Gods punishment for Priests Buggering little Altar Boys. He will be the last Pope.
Actually it was subtraction...It was a matter of 1 minus 1 equals 1...
never heard this interpretation but like it.
Historical-critical chickens coming home to roost.
If Christ did not physically rise from the dead, then Christianity is as big a scam and fraud as ,well, Islam
This is the miracle: rather than a multiplication it is a sharing, inspired by faith and prayer. Everyone eats and some is left over: it is the sign of Jesus, the Bread of God for humanity.

"Yesterday, before going to sleep - although I did not do this to put myself to sleep - I read or rather re-read the work of Cardinal Kasper, and I would like to thank him because I found profound theology, and even serene thinking in theology. It is pleasant to read serene theology. And I also found what Saint Ignatius told us about, that 'sensus Ecclesiae," love for Mother Church. It did me good and an idea came to me - excuse me, Eminence, if I embarrass you - but the idea is that this is called 'doing theology on one's knees.' Thank you. Thank you."
Walter Kasper has openly questioned the historicity of Christ's Resurrection.
Poop Francois, the Dancing Boy of Islam.
Yes I read that. Hes simply saying that 5 loaves did not become 5,000 loaves which were then split up. Hes saying that those 5 loaves were miraculously made capable (this is the miracle) of being shared out among the multitudes.
