THe ELCA left you the day it was formed.

Nearly so...I think the first clue that it was going to try to ram the gaysbian iceberg was the "Mission 90" video with Presiding Bishop Chilstrom titled "Sin". In that video he hinted that prejudice against homosexuals had driven his son to suicide. The gay agenda became Chilstrom's personal crusade to vindicate his son.

You can still be a Lutheran. There are other Lutheran organizations such as the LCMC and AFLC that haven't given in to the will of Satan. I call them Orthodox Lutherans. The church I belong to left the ELCA 8 years ago and joined the AFLC (Association of Free Lutheran Churches).

Historical deja Vu. An early supporter of the Lutheran cause was the Elector of Saxony. His had a horrible marriage. He got some advice from early Lutheran ministers polygamy was biblical. The scandal almost ended the Protestant Reformation. You had the Anabaptist taveover of Munster where polygamy was allowed.

I seems like the book of Jude was all about the ELCA.
Well, it wasn’t but, it sure as hell applies.

I had also been on several ELCA (and predecessor) church councils, and served as an ELCA lay Assisting Minister.

The ELCA left me BEFORE 2009, when they adopted that radical-feminist “new red book” pseudo-”liturgy”.

At that time, I was also attending a Serbian Orthodox parish once a month. Several Serb Brothers and Sisters suggested that it was time for me to join the Orthodox Church. So I started scounting out English-language Orthodox parishes in my area.

In 2010, I was received into the Orthodox Church.

I’m still Orthodox, and I regularly pray for all my brothers and sisters who are still in the ELCA. Now that the ELCA has gone much further off the deep end, my prayers may finally become effectual—Lord willing!! We’ve had numerous Chrismations in our parish this year—it’s always time for lots more!!!!

Our local Antiochian parish has had numerous Chrismations of LARGE families...like Mom & Dad plus 4 or 5 children.

The parents know that their children will be receiving the true faith, undiluted and uncompromised by the winds of modernity.

One of our Chrismations was of a large family.

The mother of a young man who was recently received into our parish may become a Catechumen soon!

Yes, it certainly isn’t your grandfather’s Lutheran Church in America.

That is what happened to me with the ELCA....had no idea that a Christian church could support such evil....when I peeled the onion, I was disgusted.

I read that ELCA stands for Everything Luther Cautioned Against or Every Liberal Cultural Agenda.
