I have served on multiple ELCA Church councils, helped start a Church, but I left and I will never set foot in one again.

Historical deja Vu. An early supporter of the Lutheran cause was the Elector of Saxony. His had a horrible marriage. He got some advice from early Lutheran ministers polygamy was biblical. The scandal almost ended the Protestant Reformation. You had the Anabaptist taveover of Munster where polygamy was allowed.
