I have read elsewhere that the left is looking to use the scriptures about how strangers are to be treated as a means of guilt tripping Christians.
What the left doesn’t know (or refuses to acknowledge) is that the same scriptures that talk about about treating strangers fairly emphatically state that strangers are to worship the God of Israel and obey the laws of Israel.
To put it contemporary terms, every foreigner that comes here to live would have to convert to Christianity and obey our laws; there would be no foreign religions, laws or customs allowed.
