Monday, January 6, 2020: The Holy Spirit's Ministry: Verifying Our Relationship With Christ (Continued)
The Holy Bible (KJV) | 01/07/2020: 6:39 AM

Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

What does it mean to be "pure in heart"? The world would say that this is to be truthful in all that you do toward anyone, with no thought of receiving back of what you do to help those that you see need help. There are many, many multitudes of people on earth who do these things, and oh how wonderful this is to see and experience, and this is not the norm of this present age that is plunging further and further into the abyss of wickedness and horror and violence.

For those who are in Christ Jesus, He gives us the ability through the Power of His Holy Spirit within us to do not only these things, but oh so much more, for as much as we do these things, we are doing so to Him and to the Glory of His Holy Name! It is a form of worship and praise indeed as we do what His Spirit within us directs our spirit to to actively to help, to encourage, and to minister to any who come near in our walk on this earth. Only through Christ Jesus our Lord can we truly have that true, awesome experience of being true in heart, for His Truth lies in His Word dwelling within us. We who are in Him shall see God, for not will we see Him in the changed lives of those who accept Him, but when we finally behold Almighty God as He is when He comes to catch us away to Glory in what all as He tells us constantly in His Word that "Behold, I come quickly!"

Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God."

Jesus is our Peace, the only True Peace. We can see all around us that any attempt at mankind's effort at peace--apart from the Lord Jesus Christ--is fast fading away in this present world, and it is indeed so very grievous and mortifying. The Scriptures tell us that in the last days before Christ's Return, that wickedness and evil will be so prevalent, that it will not only be as in the days of Noah, but even more to the point that men indeed lose not only their lives but their sanity. We were never, ever meant to face such horrors, but the rejection of our Creator God has caused these things to take hold, as a very true Enemy was allowed to cast his power over the earth when mankind chose to rebel against God thousands of years ago. It was a world that was perfect in every way and peaceful because of God's Perfect Peace being in place, but Adam and Eve believed a lie from the father of lies that God was holding back from them. Why did they not immediately call upon the Lord God, who they knew loved them and cared for them? Creator God gave them the ability to make their own choice, for He did not desire to have forced worship, but that mankind would desire to have an awesome, life-long fellowship and communion with Him filled with such joy and peace and love that nothing even in all of creation could provide. The devil convinced them that God wanted to 'lord it over' them and control them, but True Freedom only rests in God. Those who worship the Lord must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Today is the day of Salvation, Beloved. Receive Christ and He will change your life to the True Life He always intended!

Matthew 5:10-12

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

When you go about preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, standing true to God's Word and doing what His Holy Spirit within you prompts you to do, some will indeed ask Jesus into their heart. Some will listen and walk away, but that seed has been planted in their heart--and the Lord will cause another to come and speak and encourage them. Others will just respectfully depart, as they have been taught by their parents or grandparents or others to be respectful of another's beliefs. But there will be those who become angry at hearing about Jesus and also abusive, beit emotionally, verbally or physically. They may even throw things at you, spit at you, curse at you. They may also attack your person through spreading lies and gossip, taking you before authorities and engaging in slander and defamation of character and even lawsuits. In Jesus' day and after His departure back to Heaven to sit at His Father God's right hand, the disciples, apostles, and all who followed after Jesus Christ experienced some form of persecution, many of them being beaten, scourged, thrown in prison, tortured and eventually killed. This is happening right now, today--and has been occurring long into the past to prophets and teachers and preachers.

Oh, but Beloved one in Christ Jesus, that you should also be worthy to be accounted as your Lord and Savior to be so treated because of your stand for His Word and Testimony! As He tells us, and you, you are Blessed! Be joyful and exceeding glad! Great is your reward in heaven!

Matthew 5:13 tells us, "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men."

The Salt of the earth are we, as twice-Born children of the Living God, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ. We must not become again as those who have never trusted Christ and want nothing to do with Him, becoming rebellious (which is a form of witchcraft!). Of course then also, many of us can get to where we don't spend that crucial time with our Lord and Saviour every day, reading His Word, praying, and just spending time with our Master and Creator. We get weak without that daily feeding from the Word and washing of the dirt of sin from our lives, which strongly tries to cling to us. Don't let it in, don't listen to the Enemy's lies in your ear telling you that all is lost, the reason things are getting so difficult in your life or events that are so damaging in your life are because of lack of faith or that there is no God, or that He doesn't really love you or care about what happens to you. That that sickness that has come upon you is God's judgment upon you, or if you lose a loved one that He has abandoned you.

No, No, NO. JESUS IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.

You are NOT under judgment, but under GRACE. Your name is carved in God's Hand, and can never be removed. For who can snatch anyone out of the Father's hand? the Word tells us.

There are those who profess to be Christians but their lives reflect nothing of the sort; they are proud, vain, gossipers, liars, destroyers, rebellious, judging reprobates. These have either never truly trusted their lives to Christ in all Truth according to the Word, or have forsaken their walk with the Lord in entirety. They may have come under some teaching wherewith they've been told that not all of Holy Scripture is true or worthy of study, or just stories or fairy tales, or that prophecy is just to scare people, and that even if everyone and the Persons of God Named in Scripture did exist, they were only philosophers and teachers and there is actually no power at all in the Holy Word of God. WOE UNTO THEM THAT DO THESE THINGS! May God be merciful to them, and that they may turn from such things and fall on their knees before the Lord and asked to be SAVED and DELIVERED! "For He will abundantly pardon, and their sins He will remember no more."

In closing, Matthew 5:14 says, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

My fellow FReepers in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, let us continue to be in God as that light of the world, that all that behold it will come and receive Him before it is too late. The more brightly His Light shines, the more that so many lost and desperate souls will come to Him. The darkness (evil), as the Word tells us, cannot comprehend the light, and stays out of it, for the Light shows like a laser beam on their wicked works. The Light of Jesus Christ's Salvation and Testimony can never be hid, though the Enemy fights to extinguish it. He is a liar, and why would anyone listen to such?

Remember the Word of Father God that came when Jesus came up out of the water, being baptised in the Jordan River and His Spirit like a dove lighting on Him: "This is my Beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased."
