WHY do Roman Catholics refuse to accept the plain, simple fact that salvation is by grace through faith, not of works, lest anyone boast? It is not dependent in any way, shape, or form upon man’s effort. I’ll admit that if I believed in a Roman view of the inadequacy of Jesus Christ to save, then I guess I’d have to logically work Purgatory into my soteriology.
Why do protestants reject the Catholic Church established by Jesus and the authority granted to His Church and instead follow the teachings of man protesting against His teachings?
Christ made the perfect sacrifice to restore man to Heaven, yet each of us has to accept salvation through Baptism and His Catholic faith and by keeping His commandments.
I realize many have been indoctrinated against the Catholic faith by false teachers and false teachings.
Seek God’s Truth. The Catholic faith is for sinners and all are welcome.
Everyone should welcome the mercy of God to have Purgatory to purify us of venial (minor) sins to be worthy to enter Heaven. Why would God allow sin to enter Heaven?
Why do they not accept that simple Truth from God? ... Because the org they are trusting to get them to eternal life is void of understanding just what IS salvation. Their org teaches them it is strived for, so that the deeds done by their adherents are speciously accounted for some degree of righteousness. The Roman Catholic Org does not know what salvation is, to what part of the human it applies, and do not actually comprehend what sin is, what it effects in the human being and how what Jesus did on the cross is the only cure for the state of unrighteousness. Catholicism is definitely not Christianity but is a craftily designed look-alike meant to keep human spirits in the lost condition.
